Biomass gasifier

A biomass gasifier is a device that converts biomass fuels (such as straw, distillers grains, sludge, etc.) into combustible gas (mainly hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane and other hydrocarbons) through high-temperature chemical reactions (pyrolysis and gasification) under oxygen-deficient or oxygen-limited conditions. Compared with direct combustion, gasification combustion is cleaner (with low SOx and NOx) and reduces net greenhouse gas emissions.
